Of the 60 rackets tested by Testea in 2026, these are the ones we have: 11 models from Head, Wilson and Bullpadel, ordered from easiest to move to most demanding. Testea Sport Lab is the padel racket laboratory of the ai2 institute of the Universitat Politècnica de València, and published its Testea Guide 2026 on May 27, 2026. It tests one unit of each model: every figure in this article is from that unit.
Testea does not choose a winning racket. It says in its guide: "there is no better or worse racket, but rather we want you to choose the racket that best suits you". That is why there is no ranking here: there are the data for each racket and the order proposed by the laboratory to choose.
The guide only measures high-end rackets. If you are looking for a simpler racket or are just starting out, you can find them all in Padel rackets.
What does Testea measure in each racket?
Testea scores six things in each racket, from 0 to 5 and in half points, and also measures its weight and balance. These are the six, with the definition from the guide in plain words:
| What it measures | What it is | The higher the score |
|---|---|---|
| Manejability | The effort it takes to move the racket and hit shots | Less effort |
| Hardness | How rigid the rubber and fibers are, which is noticeable in the feel | Harder |
| Vibration | How much energy from the shot the racket absorbs instead of passing it to the arm | Less vibration reaches the hand |
| Sweet spot | The part of the face where the shot reaches the hand evenly and smoothly | Wider |
| Ball output | What the ball does in slow defensive shots: blocks, lobs, groundstrokes | The ball comes out more |
| Power | What the ball does in fast and downward shots: smashes, wall shots, overheads | Hits harder |
Balance is the distance, in millimeters, from the end of the handle to the point where the racket balances. The higher, the more weight there is towards the head of the racket. In the 60 rackets of the guide, it goes from 249 to 279 mm, with an average of 266 mm.
Ball output and power are not the same: a racket can output the ball well in defense and less in attack, and Testea measures them separately.
Of the six, the one that orders the entire guide is manejability.
How do the 11 rackets score?
This table brings together the Testea scores of the 11 rackets we have, from easiest to move to most demanding. The weight and balance are those measured by the laboratory on its unit, not those given by the manufacturer.

The year of each racket is the one on our sheet. The guide does not give the year: we have checked that it is the same model by the photo and the materials published by Testea.
If you are between two rackets, look first at the manejability column: it is the one Testea puts first.
How to choose between them?
Testea proposes choosing in three steps and in this order: first, a racket you can move; then, what you want from it, and finally, the feel.
- Your build. "It is essential that you can move the racket without difficulty", says the guide. Choose the manejability band according to your physique.
- What you are looking for. Testea talks about three types of play: precision, versatility and attack. Each manejability band has its own: precision in the easiest to move and attack in the most demanding.
- The feel. Hardness, vibration and sweet spot, to your liking.
The rackets that the manufacturer calls control rackets are separated from the power ones, above all, in how hard they are to move. In the guide they score 1.4 points more in manejability and 1 point less in power; it is our calculation on the 21 rackets that have that label in the name or in the rubber. You have them together in Control padel rackets and in Power padel rackets.
Manejability comes first: the rest counts if you can move the racket.
What rackets are the easiest to move?
The easiest to move of the ones we have are the Bullpadel Neuron 02, the Wilson Endure V1 and the Head Gravity Pro, with the maximum manejability of Testea: 5. They are the high band of the guide, the precision one: rackets that ask for "minimum effort to move and accelerate", for those who prioritize control in defense and precision in attack.
- Bullpadel Neuron 02 2026 Chingotto. Teardrop, 354 g and 261 mm balance: the lightest of the 11. Vibration 5 and sweet spot 4.5. Ball output and power, 3.
- Wilson Endure V1. Round, 370 g and 256 mm: of the 60 rackets of the guide, only one has the lowest balance. It outputs the ball more in defense (4) than in attack (3), and only 4 of the 60 have a point or more difference in favor of defense.
- Head Gravity Pro 2024. Round, 361 g and 269 mm. Vibration 5 and sweet spot 5: it is one of the 6 rackets of the guide with the maximum sweet spot. Ball output 4 and power 3.5.
The three move with minimum effort; what changes is the ball output in defense, from 3 in the Neuron 02 to 4 in the other two.
What racket is easy to move and more versatile?
The Wilson Endure Pro V1 is ours in the medium/high band of Testea, the one of versatility and precision. They are rackets that ask for "low effort to move and accelerate" and respond well in the counterattack, according to the guide.
- Wilson Endure Pro V1. Round, 370 g and 262 mm. Manejability 4.5, ball output 4 and power 3.5. Hardness 4 and vibration 3, the lowest vibration score in the guide, which have 5 of the 60 rackets.
Compared to the Endure V1, it hits half a point harder and absorbs one point less of vibration.
What rackets are the most versatile?
In the medium band of Testea, the one of pure versatility, we have three: the Head Radical Pro 2026, the Wilson Bela V3 and the Wilson Bela Pro V3. The three have a teardrop shape and manejability 4. The guide indicates them for those who seek control in defense, precision in attack and response in the counterattack.
- Head Radical Pro 2026. 373 g and 267 mm. Hardness 4.5 and vibration 3: the hardest feel of the three. Ball output and power, 4.
- Wilson Bela V3 2025. 371 g and 262 mm. Vibration 5, sweet spot 4.5 and ball output 4.5, the highest of the three. Power 4.
- Wilson Bela Pro V3 2025. 376 g and 263 mm: the heaviest of the 11. Vibration and sweet spot 4.5; ball output and power, 4.
The Bela V3 and the Bela Pro V3 share design and generation. Testea distinguishes them by the face fiber: carbon 3K in the Bela V3 and 24K in the Pro.
With the same manejability, the Radical Pro is the hardest feel and the Bela V3, the one that absorbs the most vibration.
What racket takes a step towards attack?
The Head Extreme One X 2025 is ours in the medium/demanding band of Testea, the one of versatility and attack. They are rackets that ask for "medium-high effort to move and accelerate", according to the guide.
- Head Extreme One X 2025. Diamond, 368 g and 269 mm. Manejability 3.5. Hardness and vibration 4, sweet spot 3.5, and ball output and power, 3.5.
Its power, 3.5, is the lowest of the 25 diamond rackets of the guide, tied with another. Testea warns: "a round racket does not automatically guarantee greater precision, in the same way that one with a diamond shape is not always oriented to an offensive game".
It asks for more effort than those in the medium band, but in attack it scores the same as in defense: 3.5.
What are the attack rackets?
Ours in the demanding band of Testea, the attack one, are the Head Extreme Pro 2025, the Wilson Defy Pro V1 and the Head Coello Pro 2026. Testea says they ask for "high effort to move and accelerate" and give the maximum ball response in attack shots. The 12 rackets of this band in the guide are diamond.
- Head Extreme Pro 2025. 373 g and 272 mm. Manejability 3.5, hardness 4.5, and ball output and power, 4.5.
- Wilson Defy Pro V1 2025. 375 g and 267 mm. Manejability 3 and power 4.5, with vibration 5: of the 12 rackets of the band, only two absorb so much.
- Head Coello Pro 2026. 369 g and 278 mm, the highest balance of the 11: only one of the 60 rackets of the guide has it higher. Ball output and power 5: it is one of the 4 of the guide with the maximum score in both. Manejability 3.
Nacho, from our team: This is the type of racket I like. They are clearly attack rackets: for a player who wants to boost their offensive game, they are spectacular. In exchange, in defense it is harder to move them, and you have to get used to it.
That is why I do not recommend them to an amateur player. They demand hitting the ball well and are very hard: if you do not have the strength and precision to hit it in the right place, the ball does not come out, the racket is very hard to move and, moreover, it can load your elbow.
They are the ones that hit hardest in the table and also the ones that are hardest to move: Testea explains it like this, "manejability and power share an inverse relationship".
What racket is more comfortable for the arm?
The ones that absorb the most vibration, according to Testea, are the Bullpadel Neuron 02, the Head Gravity Pro, the Wilson Bela V3 and the Wilson Defy Pro V1: the four have a 5. Vibration absorption is the energy of the shot that the racket does not pass to the arm; Testea relates it to less muscle fatigue.
The guide adds: "the softer rackets feel more comfortable, with less vibration and in general have a wider sweet spot". In its 60 rackets it is fulfilled: the harder a racket is, the less vibration it absorbs and the smaller its sweet spot. It is our calculation on the guide.
At the other end, the Wilson Endure Pro V1 and the Head Radical Pro 2026 have a 3, the lowest score of the guide in vibration.
If you seek comfort in the arm, look at the vibration column before the shape or the name of the racket.
Does the shape of the racket matter?
Less than what is usually said: for Testea, performance depends on the sum of weight, materials, handle length, bridge, holes and frame hardness, not on the shape alone. We count it with figures in the types of padel rackets.
In the 60 rackets of the guide, the shape goes with manejability: the round ones only appear in the three easiest bands to move, and the 12 most demanding are diamond.
What racket does each professional carry?
Four of the 11 carry the name of a professional: the Head Coello Pro, by Arturo Coello; the Bullpadel Neuron 02 2026 Chingotto, by Fede Chingotto, and the Wilson Bela, by Fernando Belasteguín. The name is put by the manufacturer.
In the laboratory, a professional racket is measured like the others: the Coello Pro has manejability 3 and the Neuron 02, 5, the lowest and the highest score of the guide.
Nacho, from our team: Among the club players we see everything. Those who have less experience, or do not have a coach to advise them, sometimes go straight to the professional's racket, and it is a mistake. It also happens with the high-end rackets from two seasons ago: they drop a lot in price and look like a bargain, but if you do not have the level to carry them, you are going to play worse. Whoever has a coach behind them usually chooses much better.
We think in three steps: beginner rackets, intermediate level, and high-end. Each one corresponds to a level of play, more than the time you have been playing. To those who start we recommend an affordable and comfortable racket, that they can use without fear of breaking it or scratching it, to learn the shots without the racket making it harder for them. Then comes the intermediate level and, later, the high-end. You do not need to always stay in one step, but yes, go up one by one.
A signature racket is not easier or harder because it carries a name: its manejability and its power say it.
What is the best brand of padel rackets?
There is no public data that orders the racket brands. The only sales study of rackets in Spain, DataPadel, from the company Sport Panel, is private: only the brands that participate see it. Testea also does not order brands: it measures rackets.
The ones in this article are in Head Padel rackets, Wilson Padel rackets and Bullpadel Padel rackets.
To choose, compare rackets, not brands.
What changes from one edition to the next?
Nacho, from our team: From one year to another, a racket usually changes very little. When something changes, the brand takes care of making it noticeable with a new design, another aesthetic or more marketing, but the rackets look very similar from one season to the next.
When to change depends on the use. The experienced player notices when their racket degrades, especially if they try the new ones of their teammates: they see that theirs has softened and they no longer feel the ball the same. I would tell an amateur player who does not play much to change it more or less every two years.
